Welcome to the family of Smooth Jazz Europe!

The smooth entertainment GmbH was founded in April 2008. Since then our vision has been creating high-class events and travels in beautiful surroundings at unique places.

Our first Smooth Jazz Festival was held in Bregenz at Lake Constance, Austria. At this European premier end of August 2008, we directly welcomed guests from over 20 different countries. Going along with the 2nd festival edition in Munich, Germany, we started developing from a classical concert promoter to a music travel organizer by cooperating with a hotel. Munich became the Augsburg festival from 2010.

In 2011, we established a 2nd annual festival in spring time, which was held for the first time in a hotel (Cube Hotel Biberwier-Lermoos). Combining the concert venue and hotel in one place set the basis for the unique familiar atmosphere and boutique-style ambience that our festivals are meanwhile famous for. This festival became the Mallorca festival from 2012.

In 2015, we established a 3rd annual festival at Lake Maggiore, Italy to be held in autumn time and changed the Augsburg festival to a New Year's Eve event. The Lake Maggoire festival became the Algarve festival at a cliff-top hotel directly at the Atlantic Ocean from 2016.

And for October 2024 we are planning another premier: The Paris Smooth Jazz Festival - River Cruise edition. We chartered a 5-star river cruise ship and will sail from Paris towards the Normandy and back. All cabins have been sold out with in 2.5 weeks after sales start in May 2023.
